* 15 small Potatoes, parboiled in salted water
* 1 giant Onion, finely chopped
* 1 tbsp Ginger paste
* 1 tbsp Garlic paste
* 1 tbsp tomato paste
* 1/Four cup Greek yogurt or any plant primarily based yogurt
* 1 pinch Asafoetida
* 1 tsp Pink Chilli Powder
* 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
* 1 tsp Garam Masala
* 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
* 1 tsp Sugar (non-compulsory)
* 1-2 tbsp heavy cream(non-compulsory)
* 1 tbsp Ghee
* 2 tbsp Cilantro Leaves, chopped
* 12 cashews
* 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
* 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
* 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
* Four pod Inexperienced Cardamom
* 1 small piece of Cinnamon
* Four Cloves
* Three dry purple chili
Dry roast all of the components for couple of minutes.
Mix all of the components into blender and make a clean paste.
1. Peel par-boiled potatoes and prick them with a fork.
2. Make spice paste
3. Add ghee in a pan and warmth it. Add a pinch of asafoetida and sauté for 8-10 seconds. Add bay leaves and finely chopped onion, ginger & garlic paste and salt & pepper sauté till onion turns mild brown or for approx. Three minutes.
4. Add tomato paste and cook dinner extra for about 2-Three minutes. Add spice paste and cook dinner for couple of minutes.
5. Add turmeric powder, purple chilli powder and whisked yogurt and blend once more.
6. Stir constantly for 2-Three minutes or till oil begins to separate.
7. Add boiled potatoes, 3/Four cup of water combine all the pieces collectively and cook dinner on low warmth for 2-Three minutes.
8. When it begins to boil, cook dinner coated on low flame till you get the specified consistency of gravy. Add kasuri methi, garam masala, and chopped cilantro and blend.
9. If gravy is just too thick add slightly water or milk. Flip off the range and switch to a serving bowl.
10. Garnish with coriander leaves, and heavy cream(non-compulsory) serve sizzling with Rice or Roti.
